Driving innovation and responsibility across the value chain

Dolce&Gabbana’s collaborations with suppliers, industry players, and socially engaged organizations aim to initiate and promote positive and lasting change. Starting from the sharing of common goals with various stakeholders, the brand seeks to integrate innovative and sustainable solutions into all aspects of the fashion industry.

01

Collaboration for Responsible Practices in the Value Chain

For Dolce&Gabbana, collaboration is essential to ensuring a sustainable and transparent approach throughout the entire supply chain. Through the Responsible Sourcing Program, the brand guarantees ethical and traceable practices, supported by rigorous environmental and human rights standards. By working closely with suppliers who share its commitment to a more sustainable future, the company aims to generate a positive impact, where responsibility and innovation come together to drive tangible change. Dolce & Gabbana is currently implementing a digital tool to support the ESG Onboarding and Monitoring process of its suppliers, enabling continuous dialogue aimed at fostering a gradual yet steady improvement of the supply chain’s ESG performance.

02

Collaboration for circularity

As co-founder of the Re.Crea Consortium, Dolce&Gabbana leads efforts to reduce textile waste and promote circularity, working in partnership with other luxury brands and the Ministry of Ecological Transition to implement responsible solutions. Together with five other brands, the company established the Consortium, promoted by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, to effectively manage the product life cycle and foster an innovative concept of recycling. All of this is fully aligned with the European directive on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for textile waste.

03

Collaboration with Universities

Dolce&Gabbana invests in the talents of the future through collaborations with prestigious universities, offering scholarships and supporting projects that promote intercultural awareness. Among its initiatives are support for students at Humanitas University and for medical research at the Humanitas Foundation, as well as a partnership with Ca’ Foscari University to foster ongoing cultural dialogue. Over the fiscal year 2025, the brand has also collaborated with internationally renowned academic institutions such as Harvard Business School, the Gabelli Business School at Fordham University, and Washington University in Saint Louis, as well as leading Italian institutions in the fashion and design sector, including IULM University (offering the Degree Course in Fashion and Creative Industries and the Master in Management of Made in Italy) and POLI.design – Politecnico di Milano (Master in Fashion Accessories & Jewellery). The Beauty division has established a partnership with Istituto Marangoni in Milan, the first Italian institute to develop an educational offering focused on the cosmetics sector. Students in the fragrance and cosmetics programs are offered project-based challenges designed to stimulate creativity and strategic vision. These initiatives reflect the brand’s commitment to creating shared value and inspiring young talents toward a more interconnected and culturally aware future.

04

Collaboration with Socially Engaged Organizations

Dolce&Gabbana collaborates with organizations such as the Quid cooperative and Piccolo Principe Onlus to empower women and young people in vulnerable conditions, creating opportunities for inclusion. For the third consecutive year the brand collaborates with Quid, to promote female employment through a circular economy approach. Since 2023, the brand collaborates with the Piccolo Principe Onlus Cooperative, with whom it developed the ‘Cittadella dei Ragazzi’ in San Vittore Olona , offering clinical support and professional training to at-risk youth.

Dolce&Gabbana’s supplier Code of Conduct

The Supplier Code of Conduct represents the cornerstone of our vision for a responsible and sustainable supply chain. Adopted in November 2024, this document establishes the fundamental principles, ethical standards, and responsibilities that all Dolce&Gabbana suppliers must respect in their business operations and throughout the supply chain. Reflecting the commitment to integrity, ethics, and social responsibility, the Code embraces three fundamental areas: respect for people, environmental protection, and business ethics. Through the principles of the Code, Dolce&Gabbana promotes sustainable, transparent, and socially responsible practices, valuing Italian craftsmanship and the well-being of the communities in which it operates.
