Driving innovation and responsibility across the value chain
Dolce&Gabbana’s collaborations with suppliers, industry players, and social impact organizations focus on creating lasting, positive change. By working together, the brand aims to integrate innovative, sustainable solutions across all aspects of the fashion industry.
Collaboration for responsible value chain practices
Collaboration is key to ensuring a sustainable and transparent approach throughout the supply chain. Through its Responsible Sourcing Program, Dolce&Gabbana upholds ethical and traceable practices, supported by stringent environmental and human rights standards, according to the principles of the Supplier Code of Conduct adopted by Dolce&Gabbana in late 2024. Working closely with suppliers who share its commitment to sustainability, the company aims to create positive impact by merging responsibility with innovation to drive meaningful change.
Collaboration for circularity
As a co-founder of the Re.Crea Consortium, Dolce&Gabbana leads efforts to reduce textile waste and promote circularity. By partnering with other luxury brands and the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the company develops responsible solutions. Alongside five other brands, Dolce&Gabbana established the consortium, endorsed by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, to effectively manage product life cycles and foster innovative recycling approaches. This initiative aligns fully with the European directive on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for Textile Waste.
Collaboration for education
Investing in future talent, Dolce&Gabbana partners with prestigious universities to offer scholarships and support initiatives promoting intercultural awareness. These efforts include aiding students at Humanitas University, funding medical research at the Humanitas Foundation, and partnering with Ca’ Foscari University to encourage ongoing cultural dialogue. These initiatives underscore the company’s commitment to creating shared value and inspiring young talents towards a more interconnected and culturally conscious future.
Collaboration for social impact
Dolce&Gabbana works with organizations such as Quid and Piccolo Principe Onlus to empower women and youth in vulnerable conditions, fostering opportunities for inclusion. Through Quid, the company supports women’s employment within a circular economy framework. With Piccolo Principe Onlus, it created the Cittadella dei Ragazzi in San Vittore Olona, offering clinical support and professional training for at-risk youth.
